The crew gets situated in Band Neira, Indonesia after our sail from Australia. We do a bit of yoga, hit the water for some snorkeling, then get to the heart of the Spice Islands by touring a nutmeg plantation and Dutch fortress.
wow what a lucky guys you are that island is so beautifull,by the way be on your guards there are some pretty venomous reptiles there like the RUSSELL VIPER and the greentree viper otherwise me and your mom enjoyed the film
Love your video's. Just found your blog and video channel about a week ago. Do you have a blog post detailing what kind of camera equipment and editing software you use?
Hey Barry! Thanks for watching and commenting! So we don't have a blog about this although we really should. The underwater footage is a Canon G12 in a dive housing which does a pretty good job. We also use a GoPro for some of the wide angle shots because it's so light and small. We sometimes mount this on the end of a fishing pole to get a different perspective, which helps with the wide angle stuff. Most of the video is shot on a Canon M500, which is a pretty basic and cheap camcorder but does great video for the money. For editing we use Adobe Premiere running on normal laptops. Seriously, has nobody noticed that in the thumbnail posted for the video above, it looks just like Nina's nipple is exposed?? I mean, I watch all your videos anyway - but as my wife and I were scrolling through and deciding on which ones to watch first, I told her "I gotta find out if her tit is really hanging out or not." I was surprised to find out that it was just a very strategically placed water spot on the camera lens, and you must be a genius to find that precise frame to use for your video's thumbnail. Sorry for my mind being in the gutter, but I could help but to write and find out if that was intentional or not?
