New Video! 38. S\V Delos- It's More Fun In The Philippines!

The crew departs from Ternate and makes the 5 day sail to Davao, Philippines! Along the way we stop at an underwater volcano, get more awesome visits from dolphins and whales, and settle down in the Samal Island Marina in Davao. We have a few parties, do some work on Delos, and start exploring the amazing Philippines!

  3. I can't say with enough enthusiasm how much my wife and I have enjoyed following your blog posts and in particular watching your excellent videos on youtube. Our family's boat is anchored at Lockhaven marina just inside the locks from where your boat started out. We spend a month every summer exploring in Desolation Sound, and the adventure you are doing is one I dream about every day. There will never be a day in your life that you look back and wish you hadn't done what you are doing now. The same goes for the time you spend on your blog and videos--you'll love reflecting back on those decades from now re-living the amazing experience you are currently living. (I look back at my BC boating blogs often and they help remind me how good life really is.) Keep up the amazing work; you are living the life!!

    1. Hey Ken,
Wow thanks so much for your heart warming comment. We really appreciate it!! You're absolutely right, although there are sometimes tough times, 99% of cruising is absolutely amazing! The whole reason we started the videos was for ourselves to look back on in 30 years and have a bit of a giggle and relive the amazing adventures. It just so happens that a lot of other people enjoy them too. Its an absolute blessing! I hope all goes well for you and your family aboard your boat and hope to see you out there one day!! Cheers and fair winds to you,

  5. How long does it take to film and edit a video? Keep the videos coming and take more time to let us in on the life style of the area you are visiting, food markets, availability of food, safety etc.
    Thanks John

    1. Hey John! Thanks for following. I would say it takes roughly 2 weeks of full time work to start, edit and complete a video. A lot of time and effort but its so worth it! And its so much fun :) Cheers!
