We just wanted everyone to know that here in Davao (Southern Philippines) Delos was unaffected by Super Typhoon Haiyan and all is well! We were 220 NM south of the storm path, which makes all the difference in the world. Here we experienced only a few showers and 25 knots or so. Nothing like the horror up North. We plan to stick around here for a bit and enjoy the lovely marina life for a bit longer. Our thoughts and wishes go to all those affected by this tragedy.
Thanks so much for all the emails and comments wondering about our safety.
The path of Haiyan, North of the current position of Delos.
Good to hear your safe n sound ! Keep up the great blog.
ReplyDeleteWe are relieved to hear that the Delos crew has been missed by this horrific storm, our thoughts are with the victims.

ReplyDeleteHey, thanks so much for watching the vids! We love to hear it, especially from a fellow cruiser :) You may want to check out this blog about a small anchor guide for Raja Ampat. Nothing crazy, just some sweet places you can tie off to cliffs in deep water and such. We also did a small dive guide. Hope it's helpful!
