Cape York Here We Come- By Brian and Brady

Delos is now headed north after 5 days anchored at Lizard Island (pronounced Leeeeeezard by Delos Crew for reasons unknown). We had a serious 4th of July that started early with eggs, bacon, foccacia bread and Gin n' Tonics. Most of you Americans out there would be very proud as we sported around the anchorage dressed in our American Flag swim wear, except for Karin who was the sole member of the Swedish Bikini Team. After finishing our Gin we moved onto a delicious box of red wine and things got a bit hazy. We finished out the evening grilling steaks on our newly repaired BBQ!

The breeze has been strong (30 constant with gusts to 45 knots) the past few days and there is no end in site. We decided to sail north this evening which should put us within 100 NM of Cape York in two days! It's a good sail as we're making awesome speed with only a scrap of jib out.
